Rain Policy

Weather Monitoring and Notification

  • We closely monitor weather forecasts leading up to each scheduled service and rental. If there is a reasonable likelihood of rain or inclement weather, we will notify the client at least 24 hours before your scheduled event or as soon as we are aware of the changes in weather for services including Beach Caddying, Daily Set-Ups, and Custom Party Packages. The monitoring of weather for Weekly Rentals will be at the discretion of the renters unless there's a hurricane or serious tropical storm in which the staff at Perfect Beach Day NJ will notify them.

  • This allows “Weekly Rentals” clients to proceed at their own risk of unsafe wind conditions, gusty winds, stormy weather, thunder and lightning storms, impeding high tides, or any other weather conditions that may pose a risk to the stability and safety of the rented gear.

 

Client’s Decision and Options for Beach Caddying, Daily Set-Ups, and Custom Party Packages:

Option 1: Proceed at Your Own Risk:

  • If you choose to proceed with the event despite the risk of inclement weather forecast, you acknowledge that you are accepting the possibility of weather-related disruption. In the event it does rain, we will issue you a credit or reschedule your booking for a future date, but no refund will be provided. You understand that once the Perfect Beach Day NJ staff prepares for the booking, those costs cannot be recovered if the event is ultimately canceled due to rain on the day of.

  • We will do set-ups in mild weather conditions, but these decisions will be made at the full discretion of the Perfect Beach Day NJ staff and management. These decisions will be communicated to the clients no earlier than they are notified of the potential for inclement weather.

Option 2: Reschedule or Cancel Before the Event:

  • If you decide to reschedule or cancel the picnic when notified of the potential inclement weather (decisions from clients need to be made within a few hours of being contacted assuming it was a reasonable time to be contacted), we will provide a full refund to the original form of payment. With 24 hours or more in advance notice, clients can reschedule at no additional cost.

 

Non-Refundable Costs

  • If clients elect to proceed with the service despite the weather forecast (Option 1) and the event must be canceled or cut short due to inclement weather on the day of, you agree that the full costs of the service will remain charged and no partial refunds will be issued.

 

Terms of Agreement:

  • By renting equipment from us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms listed above. This policy ensures fairness for all parties and helps us continue to provide quality equipment and services.
